Did you know that 3 children in a class of 30 are born prematurely? TinyLife has successful campaigned for the School Age Bill to be passed in 2022 and more recently has launched our new PremAware Award programme for schools across Northern Ireland.
The PremAware Award, launched in 2023 will help educate school staff about premature birth and how being born prematurely can impact on school learning.
Why not help us keep these invaluable services going?
There are lots of ways your school pupils and teachers can get involved and have lots of fun while raising funds! Whether it’s a non-uniform day, a wacky races day, mad hair day, sponsored walk or a movie and popcorn afternoon you’ll have fun and help to support people affected by cancer in your local community.
Let’s keep it simple…

Keep fundraising easy and fun with your little ones! Why not hold a Teddy Bear’s picnic or a ‘Wear Yellow Day to help raise funds towards our amazing TinyLife services for children born too soon, too small or too sick?
Let’s get your Primary School pupils raising funds towards our PremAware Award service… pupils will learn about the importance of supporting a local charity as well as helping children their own age who have been impacted by a premature birth.
We need your fun-loving and generous pupils to get involved. How about do a school colour run or a non uniform day and all pupils donate £1 each?
Fundraising is a brilliant way to get older pupils engaged and thinking about creative ways to raise money! Why not pitch year group teams against each other and see who can raise the most? Pupils can get entrepreneurial selling products or skills to their peers, parents and teachers – all for a good cause!
