Slieve Donard Thanks

Eighty four walkers braved the elements on Slieve Donard last weekend to raise funds for TinyLife.  They faced 40 mph winds, driving rain and due to the heavy cloud cover saw absolutely nothing when they reached the summit! Despite being cold and wet everyone returned to the base of the mountain in high spirits and filled with a great sense of achievement.

Thanks to Collette McKenna who celebrated a special birthday by climbing the  highest peak in the Mournes, Collette was joined by famiy and friends.

Thanks also to Margaret Brannigan and her six sisters who took on the mighty mountain and their family and friends who rallied round to help with fundraising.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to all those who supported, sponsored and encouraged our amazing walkers.

A staggering £10,985.83 has been raised so far, with promises of more to come.

Check out the Life Adventure (Max Smiley) facebook page for photos from the summit.
