Pram Push Success!

Thankfully the weather was glorious as around 40 mums, dads and babies attended the first TinyLife Pram Push.

The morning began with a delicious cup of coffee and cupcake – then participants were invited to limber up in preparation for the short walk to Belfast City hall -  Pramtastic fitness instructor Nicola Jarvis encouraged everyone to warm up their muscles by lightly running on the spot, stretching out and getting their posture right for pram pushing – the babies were oblivious to it all!

After warming up the group set off to walk the few miles from Botanic Gardens to Belfast City Hall under the leadership of baby Maximilian and mum Barbara -  everyone thoroughly enjoyed the gentle pace and glorious  sunshine.  Belfast looked quite cosmopolitan with pavement cafes full of Sunday morning visitors.

Once reaching the City Hall everyone posed for a photograph – then meandered by towards Botanic Gardens.

The Balloon Modeller Aaron wowed us all with his balloon creation and  mums and dads enjoyed a welcome rest. Once again Starbucks staff spoilt us with fresh mango juice, frappacinos and endless coffee.

Thanks to the support of Starbucks customers from the Belfast district stores and Joey and Barbara’s excellent organising skills an amazing £1100 has been raised for TinyLife, the premature baby charity for Northern Ireland.

Sincere thanks to everyone who joined us.  With special thanks to Ian Campbell founder of Cupcakes For cancer, his donation of cupcakes were delicious.
